Download and complete the articles of organization in order to create an LLC in New Mexico. An applicant must attach the filing fee and send to the Secretary of State's office. Check Name -- It is always recommended to check the name availability to ensure it has not been previously registered.
How to file the Articles of Organization
Step 1 -- Print Form - Complete the articles of organization either on your computer or fill in after printing. Make sure to fill out the attached 'Statement of Acceptance of Appointment by Designated Initial Registered Agent'.
Step 2 -- Pay Fee - A check will need to be written payable to the New Mexico Secretary of State. The filing fee is $50.
Step 3 -- Send - Send the fee and forms to the following address:
